 Open Group Testing
Solution

GeneSys Online allows you to batch test multiple people at once by using the Open Group session type. The Open Group session is a computer based alternative to batch paper and pencil session. There is no limit to the number of people you may test at once, however, this does of course depend heavily on your internet connection speed, and the number of free computers available.

To use an Open Group session you will need to set up the testing environment in the typical way, ensuring that you have enough computers for each of your respondents, and one extra for the administrator. As the Open Group session is a “live” session, the administrator must first authorise everyone to begin, and then may monitor the progress of all the respondents progress through the test.

As the session is controlled by the GeneSys Online system it will track each respondents progress through the test(s) and monitor all timings of each section, so you don’t have to.

An additional feature is that you do not need to add the respondents to your session, simply set up the session in the administrator screen, let your respondents know the session ID, and they will then add themselves. You can then watch them automatically appear on the screen as they complete the login process.

Once the session is complete, the results are automatically saved, and the tests are automatically closed. You can then request individual reports, or request a batch report which will be ready to download in seconds.
